I did not go thru the entire sequence of replies but based on the closeups, and knowing zero about the brand, it looks as if the craftsmanship is a bit mundane for a $1,000 shoe. I am thinking they are fakes, Mochi. I'm sorry.
Is that clippity clappity sound as you walk, somewhat muffled off? I find the pricier shoes make less of a sound, almost as if they are not hollow.
