Whew! What relief! I can put the fretting to rest and get the boxes out of the way. I'm so glad y'all think they will work. 4" is definitely my limit. There were higher price-point ones out there (potentially closer-fitted at the ankle), but they also seemed to come with even higher heels (!!)

IK - I can keep both and think I will. If I were to return one, it would be the tan - I think black edged out the tan - but returning the tan wouldn't return that much to the bank.

Oh and it's also nice to know y'all don't think the combo with the rather shapeless dress is a disaster.

Maybe I'll take the black out for a spin tomorrow

A big Yes from me! Both pairs were made to be worn with dresses/skirts:)

These booties are divine, whatever the colour you decide on.
Wearing 4" heels will give you a new perspective on the world!

Speaking of perspective - sort of tangetially - people around the office do wear pretty high heels, but I've noticed they tend to be on the shorter side. So it all evens out.

Also, I will never wear these at family gatherings on my mother's side. They are kinda short, from my perspective. I get vertigo when we all stand up at once, like to leave a restaurant after a meal, because all of a sudden everyone stops and I'm still going. Makes me dizzy!

Oh wait, and now I have to tell one more story. My mom tried to lamely set me up once with this boy from her church. Invited him to one of these family holiday dinners. Well, I was seated before he arrived. At the end of the meal, oh y'all should have seen his look of complete appall when I stood up... and up and up.

I digress, but I'm kinda a milk-fed girl.
