Gosh these boots are popular! Thanks for all the favourable comments. Well It looks like I'm keeping them. I think the fit is fine. My feet warmed up after donning furry bootie slippers and drinking a wee drop of something a little stronger than water and I'm going to call them my superhero boots as you've chosen to name them

I personally wouldn't wear black leather shoes or boots with light jeans but I think they look great with your dress and would also look very stylish with skirts and jeans/trousers.
