A bit late to read this blog post. And feeling perhaps...like I want to be part of the conversation, since not many will be reviewing the comments on that post.
One thing I can contribute is--think about all the baggy, oversized clothes that have been part of the world of dance since I don't know how long. Think of the drama, the visual excitement all that fabric brings. One thing about baggy clothes is that in movement, they can be poetic.
That said, I don't wear a lot of baggy clothes, but the first thing that came to mind is taking an oversized sweatshirt and slashing it Flashdance-style, so that your shoulder shows. You have the delicacy of your shoulder contrasted with all that material. I did have a sweatshirt like that, a couple years ago. Second is a baggy crop top, those are great for the same reason--they contrast with a trim waist, if you have one. Third is peasant pants/harem pants, which, if worn with the right voluminous top, would be a stunning look.
