Rita, I would wear this size. I sort of slammed it on and took photos - if I were really going to wear it, I'd fix the tiers so the stripes weren't all wonky around my boobage. I feel very Russian in this dress!

I am hoping to be no bigger than the size I am, and hopefully lose a few pounds, so as long as I don't gain, this size could work. I'll have to decide if I can move past my belly hangups... you all are really helping with that.

Una, it's all been said, but this dress does look great on you. I actually like the lo ger or shorter length but do think that the long length is one of the things that make this dress special. I think it's a keeper.

I think you look great, but if you still want to try the medium, I would call your local store to see if they have it. If not, they can look up which store(s) still have it in stock and you can call that store and ask for a charge and send. They won't charge shipping if you say that it was out of stock at your local Anthro. That's how I got my size M Bailey 44 lace midi! Good luck! Chiming in late, but I think this looks fabulous on you--don't shorten it, though. I love this dress and an very annoyed that it's not in my size-it looks good on so many different body types. Love the color, too.

Curves make a woman, a woman, I wouldn't worry too much about your stomach area. This dress is very flattering on you. I prefer the longer length too.

I'm blown away by how great it looks on you in #3 and if that's you letting your "belly" hang out then shapewear is not necessary, just suck it in and stand up tall.
