I recently bought this shirt : http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/vi.....n=category at Nordstrom. The drape and feel of it was great but the price was weighing on me, so when I saw it at Macy's for $29.99 I did a happy dance and grabbed the small, but... it felt wrong. Investigating the other shirts on the rack revealed that the shirt comes in a 96% rayon 4% spandex and 95% rayon 5% spandex. Unfortunately both of the smalls in store were of the 4% variety and the sales person could not guarantee that if I ordered one to be shipped it would be the 5% fabric I wanted as both fabrications rung up as the same style. I had to spend 5 minutes explaining to them that there was indeed a significant difference; I'm not sure that they did believe me in the end. Luckily Nordstrom offered to do a price match so all is well.

I'm not sure if the 1% was worth all the fuss I caused (one of the smalls at Macy's was actually was hanging on the wrong rack and the sales person tracked it down for me before I ultimately had to dismiss it) but I am glad I got the shirt I wanted.

What about you? Is there a small difference in a piece of clothing that made a big difference to you?
