My first one was a gift, second I purchased, third was covered under warranty - so I personally am not out of pocket too much. I just feel very disappointed when tech has built in obsolescence. I think I have had bad luck, sounds like most people would go through one or two rather than three like me.
I also think potentially that the watch is not for me; I am a bit hard on tech and take it on and off all the time. I also like some of the convenience of it but don't like seeing people in my circle becoming obsessive about the stats that it tracks. Potentially a sports watch as well as a dress watch could be the way forward - none of these things are cheap so I will need to do some research.
