No. I'm I'm 90s gal. It's black tights or die. Sometimes I'll wear colored tights but very rarely.

Never understood the hate for stockings or pantyhose, and figured it was a NY fashion editor thing that didn't really apply IRL. Since I'm a dress and skirt lover, I always have a stash of hose in my smalls drawer. Good quality, skin tone/sheer and micro fishnets. Confession: I get Queen sized. I find them imminently more comfortable than sticking to the height/weight guides on the package.

I do go bare legged in warm weather, but Thanksgiving ( the Canadian one) to Easter I wear hose!

No - really don't like them for myself. I do have a pair of nude micro-fishnets that I must have worn for something several years ago - can't remember what! - but, obviously they didn't make much of an impression on me - They've been sitting in a drawer ever since. Nude hose - no matter who's wearing them (even Kate Middleton - because c'mon, she's got to wear something on her legs - I'm sure the Queen would NOT approve of barelegs!) seem a little frumpy to me. But then, I'm lucky - I live in a climate where I can go bare-legged year round. If I lived in a cold climate I would wear a pair of nude, warm tights and then layer over them a pair of nude micro-fishnets so that I was keeping my legs warm, while at the same time appearing to be wearing only a micro-fishnet! Seems like that might work.

I lived in a tropical climate most of my life, and I remember in the 1980s wearing "nude" pantyhose with skirts, even in the summertime. We would buy them a shade or two darker than our skin to try to make ourselves look more tan. What we actually did was make our legs look a bizzare shade of orange. It would be so hot in those darn things that the sweat would trickle down the back of your legs. Horrid! Once I became an adult I quit wearing them all together, with the exception of sheer black for a "dressy" look sometimes. When I moved to North Carolina I discovered that it was nice to cover one's legs when it started to get cold out.

I never have gone back to regular hose though. I wear something with a subtle pattern or micro fishnets.
