I was at my local Nordstrom yesterday in Skokie Illinois. I thought the size of the sale in my store to be quite small in comparison to past years. They did not have the vest or pretty much any of the items on my list.
Same experience as GB but on Monday in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I asked about the vest and was told it had to do with the slow supply chain. That it still may come in. I also noticed that some items I put on my wish list popped up with “ will ship on August 20.”
I love that. It would look nice on you, with your height. I would need the checks to be a lot smaller in scale. The wonderful thing about fashion is that you get to see other people look fantastic in things you love but don't love you back.
I wore many sweater vests in my college and early teaching days. I loved the extra layer and warmth. The one you posted looks exactly like something I would choose. I’m not sure I’ll be adding one to my wardrobe. I’m unsure what I will be wearing when the cooler temps arrive this year. Retirement changes things!
