The phrase Inge used in her description of today’s blogger is new to me; I like it.

A few years ago (I think it was 2017), there were a lot of pleated skirts in the forum, but I didn’t see many around me in Tampa. This summer in Berlin there was an explosion of skirts just like Georgette’s, almost always with athletic shoes that clearly don’t have that “fashion sneaker” look and either a tucked-in T-shirt/tank top or a top that just comes to the waistband but isn’t cropped so short that it show the wearer’s belly. It’s a look generally worn by women in their 20s & 30s, but I see no reason it needs to be constrained to that age group.
