The Birkenstock trend is cute, but perhaps it might be for the very young. I see the look worn by models and it looks chic, but it seems a bit masculine for everyone else. They certainly look comfy, though!

LGS, I agree that Birks are not for everyone and you have to like the look. That said, I'm not wearing these because they are fashionable, they aren't new either. I wear them because I walk a lot in my everyday life and have a hard time finding comfortable shoes that fit my feet.
