If you had it hemmed, could you wear it in rainy weather? I think it looks great as is, but you've been weighing having it shortened; this could be one more factor.
FI, I would not wear it in a rainy weather regardless the length. I’m old fashioned and don’t wear light colored clothes on the rainy days This is a summer dress only, I don’t want to wear a topper with it or extend it into fall. My only concern is the overall look of a long dress on me - does it overwhelm my frame? All kind comments from out YLF community said “no”, so I will try it as is.
Wow, perfect and KILLER! Is it something with the tent (and midi/maxi) dresses in the air now?? I am also attracted to them lately-(bought a yellow linen almost the same cut from the H&M) and can't wait to wear mine when the occasion occures-where and when do you wear yours?
Wow, love this dress! I am short too (5'2") and am picky about lengths but I like this length on you. I think because we can see your ankles it doesn't overwhelm, plus being more fitted on top. Love it!
