Hi Fabbers, I’ve had the most boring winter ever dressing wise and even this new purchase won’t change that yet.
I have felt cold much of the time so almost every day have worn a skivvy (mock neck) under a woollen knit, some of which at least are somewhat interesting with patterns on. I hope to branch out from this in the next few weeks as it warms up a little.
For work pants I wear my smarter black ones (89 wears ever) or leather patch ponte ones (46 wears ever) or pewter ones (156 wears ever). The latter especially I am rather tired of! They feel a bit tired too, but in the last 2 winters while keeping an eye out I found nothing else similar because they are very comfortable with elastic waist. I don’t tuck the layer that shows.
On my days off per week, 2 week days and 2 weekend days, I often wear my favourite black ponte “biker” pants which are awesomely comfortable for caring for Miss 2 year old. They’re more casual so don’t go to work. They have had 154 wears!
Yesterday while looking in a store I found these new dark grey ones similar colour to the pewter and awesomely comfortable as well. I’m wearing them today at home.
Question: could they cross over to work as a health professional as well? They are knit fabric so could be too casual?
And what about the length? They were sold as “shorter length”.
The grey asymmetric top is also new, not worn yet, the peplum one is 5 years old, and the animal print jacket is thrifted for $12 recently, not worn yet.
1 Tucked to show comfy waist. Not very professional?
2-4 Can I wear to work?
5-6 Alternative work Oxfords and boots
7 Favourite non-work day Skechers.
Thanks for any thoughts.
