Our summers are super warm, so frankly I don't see them as weather appropriate for our summers. However, I am fine with them until May, early June, and then again from early september to as long as the weather permits. To me, it would depend on your climate.

Thanks for all the input, everyone! I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the suede pumps shown above, as well as a bunch of other red shoes including a pair of patent kitten heels. I'll sort it all out when they arrive!

I can't imagine wearing the coral suede pumps below in winter.

Purchased red suede booties not long ago; will wear them whenever I'm feeling Reddy, with a smile.
