I wanted to share something *amazing* that happened at work today.

One of the litigants I was working with (I work for a reality court tv show) said to me:

"I wish I had your outfit."

WOAH! That's never happened to me before and I owe it 100% to YLF. I was wearing my black ATL dress and black leggings, fuchsia flats, and a big white statement bracelet. I felt fab. I've never received a compliment like that before and it felt great.

Anyone else care to chime in with some awesome compliments they've received post-YLF?

What an amazing confidence inspiring compliment!! I'm sure you already felt great in your outfit but a compliment like that is that cherry on top

I've been receiving compliments on a regular basis since embracing YLF. One of the best I've received so far is "You look like you stepped out of what not to wear, like in the end - at the reveal" I was wearing a black pencil skirt, brown top, white cami, red belt and black slingbacks. And you know something's working when men AND women at work compliment your outfit

I had someone stop me on the street (well, on the way into a store) and tell me they liked my outfit the other day. I can't even remember what I was wearing LOL

MC - that must have made you smile! I never used to comment on anyone's clothing, but now if I like something I almost always mention it because it's so clear that it makes people feel good to hear positive feedback.

My own favorite was when my darling man said, of my first leggings outfit, "Wow, that's elegant." That comment has been recorded elsewhere on this forum.

I've gotten several positive comments when I've been out and about in my summer frocks! I keep hearing, "I like your dress!"

The comment that really cracked me up though was when I came downstairs wearing my new jcrew ruffled tee that Angie blogged about. DS14 took one look and said, "you look like a pirate, Mom!" First fashion related comment from him ever! Aargh, matey!!!

That is such a lovely compliment to get MC!! And you deserved it! I can't remember if I actually got a chance to comment on your other thread, but I really like the dress on you + leggings!!! I had been eyeing that dress on the ATL website, and seeing you in it made me like it even more!!

ylf has def. improved my style quota - made my work outfits more fun, and my casual outfits less boring i.e. not just jeans and t-shirt. I was wearing this outfit at work again today, and got compliments on both the cardie and the tights. I love this combo!!!

i've been stopped by random people as i walk to the bus stop complimenting the way i dress -- and my lady bus driver often tells me she wants to steal my whole wardrobe, which sort of makes me giggle and sort of scares me a little at the same time... haha

That does sound like a fabulous outfit, Marianna, congratulations!
I've noticed an uptick in complements since gettting on board with Ylf, especially from a couple of people at work. It definitely feels great! The reaction to my haircut, which was 100% ylf-inspired, was another confidence tonic.

A post office employee complimented me on one of my "uniform" looks. It made me feel good.
