Photo #1 has been on my Pinterest style board forever! It is probably the one photo image in my collection that best represents my style goal or aesthetic. Recently, while perusing the merch at my local Winner’s, I spotted this DKNY mostly wool car coat (Finds) I’d been feeling the need for more pattern, and it has great pockets!
When I got home, I realized that I could approximate the style of my aesthetic goal! (See #2). Different colours obviously, but similar - amiright!?
Then….
I was inspired by the styling of the Uniqlo C (Clare Waight Keller colab) photo #3, and a slew of street style images to try a volume over volume styling of some of the items in my closet. I couldn’t get the editorial pose that creates the bottom heavy triangle, but I think I got the general gist of the look. Since I don’t have dark hair like the model, I bookended with a black beret. (See #4)
