You have the most amazing style and I adore your use of color! Your posts always inspire me to try over dying - one of these days I will follow through. Most of all, I am so glad to hear that you are in the clear health wise. What a terrible ordeal you have been going through! Wishing you a wonderful 2026!

Tears in my eyes and then smiles at the final outcome. I'm so happy for you and your family.

I love your colors--many are the same ones that I've been leaning toward in the last couple of years. #8 and #13 are fabulous.

Happy New Year to you and your doggie.

What a year you have had! Your outfits are always a treat and so inspirational. I always look forward to your posts.

What a year you’ve had! I bet that was scary and such a relief to be clear now. I can certainly understand how that would adjust your mindset.

I always love your outfits. You have such a clear sense of what works for you. I love your dying experiments too and want to do a bit of that myself.

Here’s to a happy and healthy 2026!

Took me a minute to digest the fact that you and the family have been under such strain. A lot of changes.
Laughed a bit at the style conclusion that all the outfits, pretty much, can be worn walking the dog.
Yup, being comfortable and moving freely seem like the least we can do for ourselves!
May you and the lovely dog be well, and always look this great.

Brooklyn- reading this and I’m not really sure what to say, but your comments around generosity hit hard. What a lovely way to approach the world and a wonderful way to celebrate life and all the messiness that goes with it.

So glad that you are now cancer free! May 2026 be a fun filled, healthy year for you! A wardrobe that is doggy friendly sounds lovely. Your use of color and natural fibers is always inspirational! I really enjoy your WIWs. Give the darling furbaby a pet from me!

Brooklyn, you indeed had a tough year and hubby said it so well unfortunately -we all end up to reorder our priorities when a health problem occures but think spending time with our pets and hobbies can help in the healing process.

Loved your new approach on editing your closet which can be such a hard duty for some of us -me included-(and my reasons are same as yours) so highlighting generousity as a motivator is so clever and inspirative- a thing to consider myself, too. Your fab outfits here also show how having already a great style and a good wardrobe can easen up our daily life-they really do some hard work for us when needed.

Your wedding guest outfit was brilliant- but all your other outfits here were a treat to my eyes- as always when you post. Great idea collecting them together in a representative thread for 2025 and I was all smiles to see your lovely doggie doing the same thing our beautiful dalmatian girl is doing us: she always wants to hide her head in/under our clothing:-) so I can relate for not being able to keep precious clothing items with such bigger breeds like our's.

Wishing You all the best in the New Year, Brooklyn, and am looking forward how your style will evolve again!
