This summer, I’m finding myself rather drawn to a straw or raffia bag, such as the Ted Baker bag in this week’s Round Up. I’ve hesitated to buy one, though, because they are of course earth tones, and my wardrobe is in the Winter color palette, which does not include earth tones. I wear a lot of black, navy, pure white, jewel tones, and clear shades of pastels. Do you all think it would look odd to carry a natural-fiber bag in tan, beige, or other soft earth tone with my Winter colored wardrobe? There would be no bookending of footwear or hair for me with a straw or raffia bag.
