JAileen, I recently stumbled on the solarpunk microtrend that includes a lot of earthy greens and browns. I've been inspired by it!
Roberta, I'm a natural fiber gal too, but some of those gear fabrications are modern marvels! I'm also finding that heavy cotton and wool just don't pack well, so I've been adding pieces that lighten the load a bit.
Angie, I have suntiger to thank for the idea of the patterned harems. She has several pairs too. They were lifesavers during the long days of emergency rooms and hospitals and hospice early this year. Now, I mostly wear them as loungewear, but loungewear that feels fab!
Laurie, tis the season for burgundy! Nice to have it back! (And thank you for your lovely support, even while I was gone from active forum participation. I appreciated it.)
Sloper and Peri and Sal, hello my friends! It's nice to talk to you again!
Aquamarine, lots of burgundy fans this year! Hopefully, I'll be able to be more active here in the coming months. I just did not have the energy for fashion until the last few weeks.
Joy, good luck slimming your wardrobe, if that's what you want to do! It's definitely possible. Look at JenniNZ!
Suz, thank you for your kindness and reason! Life is pulling me in a lot of directions right now, but mostly in good ways. If I'm being honest, my lifestyle probably doesn't require a wide variety of clothes, but I'm enjoying being able to pull out just what I want to wear on any given day. Sometimes, it's the same things over and over, but those same thins change week-to-week and month-to-month. I'm just going with the flow.
Jaime, lovely to "see" you again! Hope you're staying safe and I've had your part of the world in my thoughts often recently.
Suntiger, honestly, I'm surprised too! They used to be staples for me, but I think many of my pieces just aged out of my wardrobe and they haven't been quite as ubiquitous at retail until recently!
Staysfit, I love hearing how your buying habits have changed. There are so many ways to enjoy our wardrobes and engage with fashion without that endless churn cycle and it can be so rewarding to find them.
