Good luck with SYC! I have also been on a strict budget for almost a year now. I have some house renovations planned and hopefully a road trip so I started saving a few months ago actually. I am not going to buy anything for my fall/winter wardrobe this year but my spring/summer wardrobe needed some updating so that is what I am doing but I don't shop for anything that is not a big need.
