Wow! You totally nailed it!

Suz, those look absolutely stunningly gorgeous and comfy *and* detailed to the last dot! I'm beyond impressed, especially after your frustration yesterday. And great idea to have photos so you won't have any last-minute confusion --- I'm always a little woozy the first day or two of travel, and unless I have it written down, end up staring blankly at the suitcase for a few minutes!

This is fantastic, and indeed, as AJ notes, it's nice to know you're covered without having to depend on shopping or new things in the mail!

I KNOW you must be relieved. (I nearly fell asleep on the job yesterday after I had my packing sorted, which was when I realized just how much anxiety and adrenaline I'd been storing up!)

Have a great trip! You should be walking tall and toasty with that lot in your bag!

Well done Suz.! To get from where you were in a day is a stupendous effort. Have a great time!

This is unbelievably wonderful... taking notes here!! you will have so much fun feeling comfortable and prepared... enjoy!

Thanks again, everyone. And Zapotee, you never cease to amaze me with your amazing fund of knowledge. Who knew? Next time I am going to get the self adhesives instead of the cobblers! A LOT cheaper.

Having said that, in this case maybe it's a good thing I got it done professionally, given the amount of walkin' THESE boots are going to do! Knowing my luck if I'd done it myself it would probably have fallen apart.

Manidipa, good luck on your own trip! Rae, too!

Not only did you come up with a super snazzy combo of outfits but now it's in your history that you *know* how to do this and next time you will draw on that confidence!

Delish, all of these!!! :-)) especially love your deep colours, big contrasts, yellow bag, beige booties...so all!!
Have a nice time during your travelling, Suz!

Fabulous job, Suz! You are going to have such a wonderful time!

what a concise and fashionable travel capsule. enjoy your trip.

Thanks Suz and Zapotee for info about the non-skid sole solutions

You've done a brilliant job - I love the combination of the colours, with the pops of the red and yellow bags! I hope you have a lovely time.

I am a terrible packer - it was only reading your post yesterday that I realised it's because I just don't have enough warm (or warmish) weather clothes - I can pack a bag for a weekend away in this country in a heartbeat, but if we are going somewhere warm, I agonise for days and am always unhappy with what I have when I'm there

I really really love #7. Great color scheme for the travel capsule!

This is such an elegant capsule Suz. You've done an anmazing job! Your lack of bottoms won't be noticable at all and hopefully you'll find some new ones on yous trip. That's a great choice for shoes, and you've packed perfectly for the weather! Have fun!

I just saw that you are driving down - but your packing strategy worked out well. And now you have room in the car from any purchases. This could work out!! Hope you get some nice pictures and have fun as NYC tourist.

Suz, I agree! A little sticker is not going to cut it... LOL
I hope your driving is going well. Are you driving to your connecting flight or all the way to here?

This is a superb travel capsule. Everything mixes so well with each other. I tend to pack light on footwear and bottoms when I travel too. I figure you usually see my top half in photos and when sitting down/most interacting with others anyway so why add to the luggage right? Have a safe and fun trip.

p.s. I'm not sure if someone asked here, but what are the brands of your cross-body bags, Suz? I love the size AND color of both of them and have been looking for a red one, maybe a bright red. I love cross-body bags. Thanks.
