Inge, that outfit is so you! I could see you in those shoes and dress in an instant. I'm going to keep a look out for both yellow sandals and sandals in that style because I think you could do both if you can't find it all in one shoe.

Definitely, Inge! And if they're white, they're totally see-through. I'm sure the right one will turn up eventually.

In other news, I've edited my spring essentials list down to the following:

Red flats
Some kind of leather bag with tote and cross-body straps--my current black one is dying
Trench
Colourful, lightweight scarves
Layering tops and tees
Bootcut or straight leg jeans

And for summer:
Gladiators
Thong sandals (these last 2 are really summer items)
Denim clams
Walk shorts
Sleeveless tops
