Janet, I missed the thread with you trying on the dress. When I'm back at home I'm going to hunt down the post! I do think it's a very versatile dress, and Joy, I certainly think its worth a try. It's quite tapered, but in a flattering way, and certainly seems like it would add curves.

I would not have thought of pairing this with my faux fur vest but am anxious now to give that a try. I wore it yesterday evening to dinner with my family- with my Tan Clarks booties, a dark denim jacket, and silver pendant-and my mom said she loved it. B. said "I like that dress!"

Anna, I have a couple cropped blazers. You just gave me the idea to try it with the white blazer I got from Yellowgirl too. Thanks!

Amy, I'll try to play with the dress in some different combinations later, but I really really hope you'll show us how you wear it too!

Amy, what a luscious color palette. I have many of those colors in my wardrobe! Hmmm, maybe the dress will work with my cinamonny-orange BF cardi?

Looks incredible. Great buy; you'll find lots to wear with it.

Oh, Kari it looks amazing on you. I might just have to bite the bullet and try it. I was in Anthro yesterday and looked at the dress but didn't have time to try it on.

Love it! You look gorgeous.

I wish I could have been there. It was a bust at the show this weekend, OTOH I DID get to see puppies be born! That never ceases to amaze.

I can't wait to see this dress in your WIWs, Kari. It looks gorgeous. So sorry I missed this gathering, cause then I wouldn't have to wait!

LOVE. Awesome with the red booties!!

Simply divine! So great to see you on Saturday!!!

LOVE! Now I too covet this dress. It shows your curves off in a very lovely way (I'm more of a pear so that may not work). I believe the color will be very versatile, almost neutral, and you will be able to wear lots with it. Enjoy!!

And a very happy (belated) birthday.
