LBD, here's the handbag. I'm thinking it may be my birthday present to myself:-). And no...Beth Ann walked away from the heels!

oh…love that bag!

ABC: We spent some time at the Rack (where the pic was taken), then Carter and I went to NM Last Call (where she found the bag). I spent some time today in Lenox Square. Ho-ly Cow! They do shopping big in Atlanta.

LaBelle: I did not get the Cole Haan heels, but I learned something from them that will help me make a wise choice the next time I buy heels. The Nike tech in those shoes matters. They had real cushioning, and, despite being at least 3" heels (maybe more), my weight was centered in the heel, not the ball of my foot. I just need to buy what I need most --- and red patent pumps are a fun item, but not a need!

What Carter isn't saying about that purse is that it is perfect for her --- fitting perfectly under her arm, big enough, but not huge, and with classic, but very elegant materials and styling.

Get the bag, Carter!!!! (enabler here)

Beth Ann, thanks for giving the details of your shopping spots. I really hope you have fun in the ATL. Re the shoes - I have a couple pairs of Cole Haan with the Nike technology and they are great. Hope you find the right pair for you soon.

Beautiful ladies!!!

Oh how fun! I would so love to join in a yLF Meet up!

I spent a year in Atlanta for school and I remember Lenox Square as huge then. And there was another shopping center not far from there, something plaza?

Beth Ann, how nice that you got to enjoy a little getaway with hubs!

Thought I'd post the "pumps I did not buy." I'd recommend them highly, and the price is good. I just don't have any occasions to wear them at the moment. The picture doesn't do them justice.

Susie: I think you mean Phipps (Plaze or Place). I did not get there. According to Carter, it's the "upscale mall." By contrast, Lenox (aka the "regular" mall) has Prada and Bulgari. To be fair, it has everything --- including "juniors" stores like Aeropostale.

It also has a Garrett's Popcorn -- a Chicago specialty! I'm eating some caramel corn as I type (I have a keyboard guard, btw).

Wonderful pictures - cheers to meetups!

How fun to have instant friends in a new city! Looks like you had a blast.

Shopping and food with friends. What could be better? I second what Isabel said: How nice to go someplace and know you'll always have non-judgemental friends to welcome you.

Oh, how awesome!
And wow Beth Ann, you have strong will power. Those shoes are gorgeous. And comfortable? Not sure I'd have been able to walk away....
Purse is fab too Carter!

The Nike technology in those pumps is amazing. I would buy at that price if you think there is a chance you'll ever want them. They are classic and won't go out of style.

Thanks, Beth Ann, yes Phipps! One of our projects was a fashion show and I remember using clothing from one of the stores there. And I do remember it as upscale; I certainly couldn't have shopped there!

So fun! You all look great! Hooray for YLF meetups!!

What a treat to see your radiant smiles here! YLFs meetups are the best - big or small!
