Thanks for the update. Glad that rainy drive is over.

It is funny how the big stuff makes us cherish the little stuff. Great that your Mom is coveting boots and snuggling two dogs.

Best with everything.

So great to hear form you VC - you must feel so much better being with your mom and supporting her.
Now get those lace ups and give "c" the boot!

Thanks for the update. I'm glad to hear everyone is keeping their chin up, and I think your mom deserves the best pair of laceup boots you can find!

Also, I don't know if you've been reading the YLF blog at all, so I'm going to leave my link from last week's link love here. It's a story about how a thrifted coat brought together a group of women fighting against cancer. I think both you and your mom might enjoy it.

So sorry about all this. You are being an excellent support for your mom as she deals with this, and I'm sure she really appreciates it.

And yes to the boots!

I haven't had much computer/internet access (no smart phone) for the past 1.5 weeks so just saw this. I'm sure your mom could get great lace-up boot recs here if she just asks! Narrow foot? Wide foot? Color?

What a great story Diana - thank you so much for sharing it. I'll send it to my Mom as well, so she can read it at her leisure.

Thanks again everyone. Right now - it's just waiting. Next appt.is with an oncologist next Wednesday. We don't really know yet what the treatment plan is until we see the oncologist. So, five more days until we find out what's next.

Hopefully we can find her some lace-up boots in the meantime
