I LOVE all of the skirt and vest looks! Everything looks amazing on you. That little rosette belt is a perfect match for the skirt and sweet variation on the Chanel formula.
I just got the AT silk dress in the mail today. It is a very flattering cut for someone with my shape. I was hoping I could use this for presentation days at work. I have a fairly business casual office but need to step it up a bit for outside visitors. The dress is definitely not going to work for that. Much like yours, it's too sassy and revealing for me to feel comfortable standing in front of a large group in it. But the sale price is right and I can see it getting a lot of love this summer.
Well done... these items look versatile as well as flattering on lovely you. I am especially lusting after the AT vest. I looked on line and they only have L or XL left. Was the situation different in store?
How is the fabric on the vest, does it seem substantial and like it will hold up a while before looking knit-wear trashed?
Denise, the vest was available in all sizes in-store. Definitely check your store if you love it. I got a S. The knit seems like good quality to me, so I hope it holds up. I got it with a 30% off coupon, otherwise I'd probably have passed. I'm going to stitch on a few of the buttons a little tighter, but otherwise this is a great item.
I love "completer" pieces and often feel bare without them, so I'm hoping this one will take me through at least our spring season.
Sarah, after reading your post, I went to Target to check out their spring dresses. I loved their $20 collection but that dress did not look anywhere nearly as fab on me as it does on you!
Hasn't happened to me with many of their dresses but petites beware, we definitely need a petite in this which they don't make Too bad because the style, quality and price is just right for a possible 1-2 warm weather dress Oh and it does run large in the chest area as Teri said.
Yeah if it's any help, I got a Small. I wear sizes ranging from 4-10, but usually a 6. I'm not big in the chest area, but not tiny either and it fit me well.
It also comes in a khaki and oatmeal stripe, but Bryan said it washed me out. It did.
That Target dress is fabulous! You actually inspired me to go looking for it - it fit perfect. I'm going to order it online (they have solids there too).
