Cute! I like your new bangs very much.

I love it too, Jenn, it's playful and the fringe accentuates your beautiful eyes.

I really like it too. I love a fringe(bangs) - I have a cowlick so can't have them easily.

Great to have a change - they definitely suit you.

Well I'm not a lover of bangs myself.

I have to honestly say i like this look on you. I think it is the way the rest of your hair frames your face. Its soft snd edgy at thr same time.

Well I am a lover of bangs. I love them! They look great with your glasses and emphasize your eyes. Fantastic.

Count me in as a fan. I think the bangs are bang-on, as my British mum would say. (And I echo the others, give the son time to get used to the change.) LOVE.

Fabulous! When my son was young, he used to cry when I changed my hair (I did it anyway and still do)

Started watching Girlboss on Netflix (story of Sophia Amoruso, founder of Nasty Gal) and you resemble Sophia with that haircut. I have been thinking how much I love it and wish I could pull it off. Love it!

Love em!
(Don't listen to your son, he can't handle your style! My husband STILL hasn't gotten over the one time in his youth that his mother cut her hair short, and he's in his 30s! Change is hard on kids, sometimes, lol!)

Great! Well done, good decision!

Thank you all for your support! I'm still not sold. I thought it would be a fun, funky change, but I kind of just feel old and triangle-headed, especially now that I've washed it and have my curl back. All haircuts are temporary, though, so either I get used to it or grow it back out, I guess.

I love the bangs! You look great.

Do you have a straightening iron? Sometimes just a few strands can make a huge difference.

(I can't deal with bangs on myself. Too much of that temperamental wave, so bangs or shorter bits don't look intentional without effort. Occasionally, a hairstylist cuts something too short. So I keep a small flat iron around. If I straightened frequently, I'd get a better one.)

Yes, minimalist. I just bought a flat iron, hoping it will help. Maybe it will get easier with practice, but right now, I'm just finding it takes too much effort to make it work. I need to look okay, rolling out of bed, running my fingers through my hair, and smoothing on a bit of lipstick. This style wants a blow dryer, a straightening iron, and a good dose of eyeliner. And it might very well want me to be 20 years younger. I sincerely doubt it's sticking around.

Well played! Looking good.
