I haven't been on in a while, mostly because fashion has taken a back seat. Between a broken ankle, two little ones, and work, I was too exhausted for much than my fallback uniform (black/navy trousers, top, cardi or sweater jacket).

Pretty easy, comfortable, and functional.

But after breaking my foot and ankle over a year ago, I came to the conclusion that some of the shoes I own that still aren't comfortable are never going to be.

And, with two little kids, I didn't really start dealing with replacing them until NAS

I got by this winter with basically 3-4 pairs of shoes that saw a lot of wear. I wanted to supplement those with several more hard-working pairs of shoes. As NAS as the only time some of these go on sale, or go on sale in my size, I was ready!

I was looking for black and navy, but we all know how easy navy is to find. Still, I snapped up quite a few pairs on the first day when my size is still around.

And now, so many of them work! This NEVER happens!

There used to be a way to click and add stuff to the Finds, but I can't remember how to do that...

Only navy item I found. Not sure it it'll work as it's awfully heavy. It's not leather, so I think it may make my feet too hot.

#3 Someone else found! It's in the "finds" below. Not sure on this one. It fits beautifully, but it's a little more rugged than what I normally wear.

I've struggled with tall Blondo boots, but the short ones are amazing. Then run a little small to me, so I sized up half a size and was happy. These would be winner, if not for such stiff competition.

#5 Someone found these as well!! This are gorgeous and so comfortable. Yes, even with a broken foot/ankle these pointy-toed beauties were still comfortable. They are so cool looking. The only pause I have is I had to order a half size up, and they make my size 10 feet look even bigger...

Normally, my feet love Mephestos, but my eyes can't handle them. These look better in person in the suede, and, of course, my feet love them...

I still have some Munros coming... I am feeling lucky to have found so many contenders. Now, to make some hard decisions!
