Sorry for chiming in late--I spent most of today with a dear friend who is in town briefly to get his stuff to complete his move back to Europe

Yesterday was indeed a wonderful day, despite the weather, and I really enjoyed meeting Chris for the first time and Jill and Diana again. I felt like we had great conversations and helped each other out shopping wise. I did a LOT of shopping in December so I didn't want to buy anything, really--I mostly ended up returning things, though I did end re-buying a dress that I was on the fence about at Madewell (since the price was now $25 and it works as a great outfit with my SW boots), and also some Uniqlo leggings since they've become a laundry bottleneck.

I ended up staying on Newbury for a few hours even after the other ladies left, since I needed to stay in the area for evening plans and didn't want to go home and back. It's possible a fleece lined winter hat from Arcteryx also followed me home, too.

You all look beautiful. It sounds like the best possible way to spend a cold day in Boston.

WIW what a fab meet up. I cannot wait for more pictures and reviews.

What hardy souls you are! You all look snug, warm and stylish in your winter outfits. It sounds as if great fun was had by all despite the weather.

Here in the UK we are bracing ourselves for the first snow of the winter - chaos will ensue! In reality it will probably amount to just a few inches - if it settles at all. We're such wimps!

Loving all the replies! It's so funny how one's reaction to weather is so "relative". The word "arctic" has been used by several of you, but I bet our fabbers from eastern Canada (thinking Suz, Style Fan, LisaP...) plus various north central parts of the US (looking at you in Chicago, LeDonna) would have found the weather just another regular winter day not even worth mentioning.

How fun and wonderful of all of you to get out in the beautiful snow for a day that will certainly be remembered by all of you. Thanks for sharing!
