Thanks for thinking this through with me. Puff sleeves are the attraction to me, and I also suspect that, in contrast to my summer strategy, I might want pattern near my face.
Here are the climate stats for where I’m going. Weekdays I’ll be in the public records office at the clerk of courts 8-4:30. It is windowless and the climate control is not extreme. Most people dash in, look up what they need, and are out in half an hour without taking their coats off, (but there are a few real estate agents and genealogists who stay all day and take off outwear). I’ll make some trips to Special Collections at the university library too. People don’t dash around in their jackets, but the temps/humidity need to stay constant there too, for the sake of the documents. I expect I’ll be slightly dressier than the norm, but what else is new?
Is the 5’10” client about as big around as me? I’m nearly 2” shorter than that
