Nah . . . skirts and dresses are so not all girly! I agree with whoever above said they'd feel much more girly in capris and a peter pan collared blouse than in a skirt! (But then ladies, we are much more sophisticated in our fashion-knowledge than the general public, so maybe most people do consider all skirts girly?)

Una, I don't think I have a picture of him wearing either --- he is a bit camera shy unless we are hiking, so most of my photos of him are in cargo pants! He has a utilikilt type thing that he wears with combat boots or jungle boots, or nice canvas flip flops in the summer with a dark t-shirt or henley. the other is plaid cotton one in his family's tartan that he mostly wears with a dark tee or henley and black leather combat boots. He is fairly tall (6'1") and built very heavily with muscular legs and big feet, so he looks pretty proportionate in them, even in a dark tee and flip flops. He wears a uniform to work that includes a button down, dress slacks, and sometimes a tie, so he dresses very casually on his days off--- he is also a bit of a closeted metalhead, which might explain the aplomb with which he wears combat boots with everything
