I've been anti-white sneakers (for myself) for quite a while,but I just bought a pair of Stan Smiths (inspired by Lisap and Smittie). Pretty sure they are keepers and I'd love some styling ideas. Show me how you're wearing yours!

I want Stan smiths with either the lime green or navy inserts in the heel. But too much fashion lemming?

Then again, maybe I shouldn't care so much.

I would wear with anything that I've been wearing with my skater shoes.

I'm probably not the best example as my "uniform" is so basic and you wear a lot of business casual, dresses, etc. For me, I prefer wearing mine with non-white and not overly classic bottoms, using them as the "pop of color" in a way and trying to steer clear of anything too "tennis" or "country club". I still probably come off as preppy wearing them a lot of the time, such as with my plaid shirt. It's my "camp" look.

I sometimes add a bracelet and/or necklace that has some white in it.

Angie and suz both had some great outfits in years past with their white converse I think.

No pics at hand, but with trousers , a denim dress (shorter than knee length) adidas soccer pants, shorts, skorts/running skirts , leggings, anything except for jeans, interestingly. I like them against/with a black bottom, personally. Mine are getting perfectly worn in , and I love them:)

Don't have any real pictures. Only inspiration pics (I'm yet to buy stark white trainers!)

I would wear with denim dress, dresses with some white in the print or light grey too, cropped jeans and denim shorts.

Kookaburra, I love your picture! I wish I felt like mine looked like that on. I think it's difficult to look down at your own feet in sneakers and get a realistic view.

Texstyle, I know just what you mean! I have to make sure I don't reach for these Stan Smiths the way my un-ironic preppy 13-year-old self would have.

But you can wear them in that unironic way because you have that authentic cool-girl look. How cool would they be with denim cut-offs and a plaid shirt? Or oversize polo t and cut-offs! I'd look like a complete asexual jerk like that - and you would look like something out of Town & Country (i.e. really good).

I bought a pair of Stan Smiths a year or so ago, but sent them back because they were too wide. TBH even if I had kept them, I would probably have ended up wearing them in traditional preppy ways.
