Should I keep these shoes or return them?

I'm a long time reader of the blog, new subscriber to the forum...

I bought these shoes for a trip to Europe where I will be walking A LOT. They are massively comfortable and totally my style. The problem is that I'm not sure it they LOOK too small. My big toe slightly hangs out of the end, which not only can I feel, but I also worry it makes them look stupid when I wear them.

What do you think? Keep? Return? Exchange for a size up (even though these fit perfectly in the foot)?

Looks wise imo they are fine so i guess it's up to you as to wether you think this will be comfortable under your toe x

Welcome to the forum Kristina! I love the green and the polka dots!-) From this angle I don't really see a problem, but if it bothers you (and you say you can feel it), then perhaps sizing up could be worth the shot?

Curious to hear what the others think.

Trip to Europe: very exciting. Do you mind me asking where you are going?-)

I think they look fine, I don't see this as excessive "Toe-ver-hang"

I vote keep if they are comfy, size up if they bother you after walking around the house for a bit.

I do not see excessive "Toe-ver-hang" either.
They are very cute shoes and look good, I would worry though that if you can feel the overhang it might start to hurt after a few miles.

Do you have your weight on the foot in the photo? If so, I also agree they look fine. Peep toes should fit like that to see the toe. If you are not putting weight on your foot, that might make a difference in how much overhang there is.

It doesn't LOOK bad, but I wonder if it will start to rub/bother you after a while. Can you order a half size up, compare the two, and send the ones that don't fit back?

I'm going to differ from the majority and suggest you try a half size up if possible? I"m thinking if you are going to be wearing these to walk in Europe your feet will be swollen by the end of the day and your toe will be pushed forward. I'd rather have a tiny bit bigger shoe with some padding in it if need be than a swollen foot in a shoe that is a perfect fit. If you think you'll only be wearing them for a few hours at a time you could probably get away with it. Good luck!

Thanks for all of the feedback. I've decided to order a half size up, compare the two, and send one back like Maya suggested. I really hope it works out since they are so comfortable (like sneakers but girly). And it's good to know that, if the smaller size ends up working better, the tiny overhang looks okay.
