I'm pretty short-waisted, and struggle to find proportions I find flattering and easy to replicate. What dawned on me earlier this winter, though, is that "cropped" tops (sweaters, tees, blouses, etc) are pretty reliable fits. These aren't the true navel-baring "crop tops" from the 90s, but instead are best described as "cropped" or even just "boxy."
They just seem to hit nicely at the waist band and make it easy to do a semi-tuck without the usual fuss. These are a few that are working for me - they're quite casual so I need to see if I can get dressier "cropped" blouses in the mix.
Just wanted to share this with others who are working with similar proportions in the event it's helpful, and ask if there are any "cropped" tops others have enjoyed!
