Short hair first timer!

I have had longer hair pretty much my whole life, longer on me means at about me shoulders because apparently my hair won't grow past that point. Now I'm kind of at the point where I'm thinking it's hair, it'll grow back. And I'm just fed up and all the long hair around me and want to stick it to the man! Haha

Well, I love that style on both women, so I'd vote yes, especially if you need a change. I've found changing my hair style is the quickest way to get out of a style rut-- at least once the first week of trauma has run its course!

I think those would work for you. Make sure you bring the pics in to help show the stylist what you want.

Welcome, Lacey!
I like both of those styles, and bet that they would look great on you. You could try pulling your hair back and brushing the bangs to the side to approximate how it will look and see what you think.

In general I say go for it! It will grow if you don't like it.

It's fun to mix it up. I would go for it... but I wouldn't expect to look like Michelle or Carey; they have baby-ish faces. You'll look *harder* than they do.
