I sort of fell in love with two of the shoes in the sale - the Halogen leopard slides and the Louise Et Cie oxfords. I don't see the Halogen slides discussed much here. Has anyone seen them? Impressions?

Also, I was doing pretty well at avoiding the oxford love but the blog post this am put them right back at the top of my list. Are the metallic ones dark enough that they would look good with a skirt and opaque black tights?

Slides are soo hard to gauge from a picture. Those are really cute...the leopard takes them to all new places,but, and with slides, IMO, there's always a but.....it really comes down to fit and if they will stay on as you walk.
I love the Oxfords and can imagine the working well wth pants or skirts hope they work for you. Either way, please share your thoughts with us if/ when you try them.

I got the oxfords and they are both beautiful and super comfy. They are certainly dark enough to wear with black tights. They are shinier IRL then in the photo if that is something that matters to you.

The slides are very nice but they do run a bit small, maybe by half to a full size.
They are almost sold out, hopefully they will replenish them.

The oxfords were on my wish list from the moment I saw them in the NAS catalog but once I saw them IRL I realized they weren't what I was looking for... they are shiny and sort of iridescent; they felt like more of a "cloth" than a leather (sort of hard to explain since I never put them on once I saw them) . If I were you I would try to see them IRL since I really think they look very different from their photo.

I just got the slides delivered this morning and sadly put them in my return pile. They do fit a good 1/2 size small. Being backless, that wouldn't have caused a huge issue, especially since I wear an 11, so going up a size wasn't possible. The deal-breaker for me was that as I walked around the house, my foot felt like it was 'sloshing around' inside the shoe, which surprised me since I have a wide foot. This movement caused my heel to overhang more, as I felt like I was struggling to keep my foot inside the shoe.

Disappointing, as I've been wanting a leopard flat of some sort for a while, but not meant to be with these. I used to have a pair of leopard print smoking shoes that I wore to death and would love to have a fun, printed shoe back in rotation! If you can find the right size for you, these are still a very cute shoe in person.

Thank you so much for all of the insights! I like shiny, and irredentist is good, but I'm not sure that the combo of both is what I need. And the leopard may be tricky to fit, but I will give it a try. I wish I lived within any reasonable distance from a Nordstrom

I'm kinda glad to find out the slides run small. Now I won't cry so hard. They notified me this morning that they cannot fill my order for the silver slides.

OK, the leopard slides just arrived, and the length fit me fine, but they are wide on my average foot. I can wear a slide effectively, but these may not make the cut. And, they feel a bit cheap, which was a concern. Dang!

I love the look of the slides! The only reason I didn't order them is because I have multiple pairs of leopard print footwear already, and I had already ordered the studded Dolce Vita ones last month.

Thus fit wise I'm clueless which is not helpful. Sorry!

I don't have wide feet at all, so I am going to let the slides go and look for a better leopard print shoe. The oxfords are still a possibility. Thank you for the feedback, it was very helpful!

I got the oxfords, too, and I agree with Tanya that they would look great with black tights and skirts. They are shinier in person, but still kind of subdued, since the shiny scales are printed onto a black suede background. I've worn mine already, with pants and nude knee-high stockings, and I will give a warning: they bled some black dye onto my nude knee-highs, right at the front opening of the shoe. (The knee-highs looked dark there at the end of the day.) I'm not too concerned, because I think they will probably stop doing that after some wears, and I will probably want to wear them with black tights or trouser socks come fall, anyway. They were quite comfy, too. I wore them for my mile-long walk to and from the bus stop (round trip) and all day on my feet at work.
