Ohhh....I like #1 and #4. I've seen lots of black booties similar to #2 and 3 at lower price points to spend that much on those. If I'm spending that much, I'd go for something truly unique!

Dumb question- what makes pony hair so special? Does it add a dimension not visible on a picture? Or does it make them more durable, weather resistant?

I really like #1 but not sure i could ever walk in them!

I have no idea how you will narrow this down! They are all glorious!

Thistle, I don't know how it is for other people, but ponyhair and calfhair, in person, have a beautiful, sleek sort of sheen, not unlike - dare I say it? - seal. It has a rich, luxurious look that just steals my heart every time.

In an age where even vintage fur gets you jeered at and booed, calfhair and ponyhair are among the last remaining luxury fur-type textiles out there. Beautiful, and for some reason, still socially acceptable.

I like #2 and #3 they look like they would get worn a lot which would whittle down the CPW to practically zero.

Adelfa it is not from ponies, it is from cows but I wonder if the name comes from a time when real pony hair was used.
