Shirtdresses for plus size apple shape

Do you think shirtdresses are flattering on apple shape size 16/18? What length should they be if worn with ankle lightweight leggings?

I think they are definitely worth a try, Donna. With long leggings, a dress just above the knee or hitting the kneecap might be best?

I agree with Inge on the length, and I think a shirtdress can be flattering for any woman - I think belting your waist will be good, even if you are an apple. Have some fun in the try-on room, for sure : >

Donna as an apple shape myself I find it is important for shirtdresses to have a fairly high empire seam, rather than being too low down on a non-existant, appley waist. Does that make sense?
