My new found love for sneakers has been born out of necessity. Real shoes would be my preference but I still can’t find loafers that fit me. To add insult to injury (literally), I’m unable to wear some of my tight fitted fall boots. So, sneakers for now.
Here is a picture of my sneakers collection, not including my real running shoes.
A black suede pair of Rug & Bones and beige Nike are my “winter” sneakers. (Both are bought in 2022). To me they look bulky and heavy and better used with outwear for balance. They are also warm. So, I wear and plan to wear them in November, some December and hopefully on the warm days in other cold months.
Black knitted Nike (2022) is a fall/spring sneaker, a bit too closed on top for high summer.
White Cole Haan & canvas Converse (2020) are for the summers/ spring. I wear them with light jackets, knitwear and shirts.
Grey suede Cole Haan (2018) are extremely comfortable, light summer sneakers but they are orphans, I don’t have much to pair them with. I started to wear light grey again and hope to find ways to style them.
Do you separate your sneakers by seasons? I don’t mean high tops, just the regular sneakers. Or it’s just me being persnickety? Well, my excuse is lack of experience with sporty footwear
