After squeaking by this winter, I promised I was going to accept the changes in my feet and springboard the replenishment of my black shoe capsule with NAS.

But, I don't have to get ALL my shoe purchases at NAS. Right?!?

I am keeping:
1. Munro smoking slippers
2. Blondo Liam weather resistant suede booties (the heels on the suede ones are black, which I prefer)
3. Mephisto oxfords in suede
(Last year was my patent leather year. This year seems to be my suede year.)

I am trying to decide if sale goggles is making me consider keeping the two Munro booties. You wouldn't really notice the back in trousers, which I always wear these days. But they are very comfortable...

Still, they might be too much duplication of the Blondo's.

Does the budget permit keeping the Munros? Yes. But closet space in my small home has its limits.

Certainly it's great to stock up on necessities. And they are Munro which you really like. But three pairs of black booties? The Blondos are waterproof, so there's that. Do you wear other colors? Charcoal, brown, navy?

Choose ONE of the Munros (they look very similar). They are different to the Bondos though.

I suggested the Mephistos - and you weren't keen because you have last years pair from AGL. Now you've changed your mind - or did I dream that up? I'm aware that you've chosen the suede.

I agree with Angie and vote for the Jolynn bootie. It's more sophisticated than the Ayr. In terms of suede, the Blondo is a more stylish boot as well. Congrats on accepting the changes in your feet. I'm still working on that!

My thought was the same as Angie's--keep just one pair of the Munros and then you have some room to add later in the season.
Maybe given you suede theme, keep the non-suede Munros, for their different look. Also, I think the style of that one (Jolynn) is perhaps more distinct from the Blondo.

I like the Mephistos, but I worried in patent leather they wouldn't get much wear.

I have the patent leather Paul Green's from last NAS, the Munro suede and patent leather Oxfords from last NAS, and the AGL patent leather oxfords from last NAS.

Sensing a trend here? I've become a binge and hibernate shopper these days.

They are sooo comfortable. My feet threatened to rebel if I didn't keep them for days I strength train or work on my first 5k (my feet demand extra comfy shoes those days).

I have 3 pair of silver shoes that coordinate with my 2 pairs of charcoal trousers. I struggle matching tops with grey *sheepish grin(

I have numerous pairs of ink trousers, but I have yet to find comfortable ink shoes anywhere (the sales person at the comfort shoe store by me has her eyes out for me). I use black instead. It still creates a long line of color (which I need for my short legs) as the ink is dark enough, I think. Comfortable ink booties and oxfords are both HEWIs for me.

I shall listen to Angie! One pair stays, one pair goes. The winner will be whichever is more comfy

The only way I'd keep both is if your feet are fussy enough that they don't let you wear the same pair of shoes two days in a row and you'd lean on the black booties as a staple. As my feet and ankles get fussier I notice even well fitting shoes bother me after too many days in a row.

Both Munros are a bit dressier than the Blondos. But I'm thinking that it might be nice to have a leather option in addition to the suede? Which leaves the Ayrs as the odd booties out. . .But I am all for not wearing the same footwear two days in a row to give your feet and the footwear a rest. Would reducing the black booties to two pairs result in a bottleneck?

The Jolynn's are staying

No competition, really. Even with the slightly higher heel, they are a lot more comfortable.

Four shoes at NAS is a great way to refresh a shoe capsule for a little while. And if your budget and closet space permit it, I say go for it because it can be hard to find shoes that fit well sometimes.

I actually have budget left over! Whoohoo!

But that's because the Aquatalia's didn't work out, so maybe less whoohoo.
