Because I wasn't around here much when we picked rings out, I wanted to share a bit about mine because I love how it turned out as well as what's hidden inside.
We got engaged using a ring that was sentimental but meant to be temporary, and intended to pick out our forever rings together. (I just wanted one band, not an engagement plus wedding ring.) Originally I was thinking of no diamonds, something like a braided silver band. But then this simple band with ten small inset stones caught my eye, and I loved it. It was classic and understated, and made me feel like it was special but not something I'd feel self-conscious wearing or bang into things with. My husband found a hammered, thick band that he also really liked.
We purchased it from a company, Brent & Jess, who customizes jewelry with your fingerprints-either on the outside, or hidden. We have each other's fingerprints on the inside of our rings.
I love how they turned out.
