I ordered this in white after seeing an older woman with a pristine white bra strap showing that looked alluring...more so than nude, which can look dingy even if it is not. I own a couple other Natori feathers bras so ordered my usual size. This new bra has a shallower cup. I have never had the experience of spilling out of a bre cup before! I ordered a larger cup size. Otherwise the bra is beautiful. The matching undies are true to size.

Windchime, it will probably happen accidentally, but my bra straps tend to peek out even if I don't mean for them to. I have bought bras in colors to blend with some sleeveless summer dresses go this reason.
Kathie, you are inspiring me to order more colors. It is hard to find colored and pretty bras in a 30 band size. If some are available I should grab them while I can.

Joy....I have several feathers bras precisely because I'm a 30 band. They are my go to for a pretty, coloured bra. I always go up a cup size in feathers. I'm a pretty solid 30DD but need a 30DDD. I also discovered I can do a 32DD in the feathers because the lace band stays very tight even after much wear.

Thank you for your comment, Marilyn. I usually take a 30D, and may try a 32d if the band stays tight. Right now I am nursing a sore, probably cracked, rib and a looser band may be less painful.

Joy, that's a good point about nude colored straps. Visible nude straps feel much more 'underwear' to me. I wear black bras when the straps might show, and nude under white shirts. But now that I'm wearing a lot more white, I wonder if I should get a white bra too. I seem to recall that white bras show more than nude under tops? Not a huge concern for me, though.

I hope your rib heals quickly - that sounds like no fun, and must make bra try-ons less pleasant!

Greyscale, I agree that white shows more under white than nude. I have heard that French women do not wear white underwear. We will see if I wear this bra much. I will probably wear it most with non-white on top, Maybe off whites. I agree that black or even red is good under darker colors. My favorite bras with straps that I don't mind showing have double straps that are more round than flat and look more like spaghetti straps. They look intentional, like part of the garment.

Joy, to clarify -- this bra is different from previous Feathers bras you've owned? In that case, I might be out of luck, too. I've always sized up a cup size in Feathers (in previous NAS orders). The cups are small and shallow in this style. But maybe I should have sized up 2 cup sizes this round! I guess I'll find out when they arrive...

Suz, I ordered my “normal” Feathers size, which is one cup up from my other Natori bras, same band. At least in the woodrose, it fit the way I remember.

The Feathers bras are SO pretty but just don't lock and load the girls as much as I'd like. I think it might be the narrow front gore.

As an aside, for lovers of straps that look good peeking out from tops, Marie Jo makes several styles with functional but decorative straps.

Yes, definitely try one band size up. I wore my cameo rose yesterday....it's two years old and still crazy tight. Something about the lace they use, I guess. That's the reason I tried a 32. I have the Flora as well and had to move to the next set of hooks fairly soon.

Suz, I am glad that you saw Kathy’s reply. I ordered one size up in cup and am hoping it will work. My other bras are from Nordstroms but not the NAS sale.

Angie, spilling over is unique.
Beth, lock and load is unknown to me. I can easily go without a bra. Something that locked and loaded the side area would be welcomed.
