One more review before the sale ends. I ordered the JP fleece jacket, even though I have a poison eye for unlined blazers, because it is exactly my style. Long equestrian blazers are my favorite thing and a formal style in a slightly more relaxed fabric was irresistible. The jacket arrived today, and in a word, I love it. It's beautifully constructed, with lovely front seaming to create a slender hourglass effect, this double seaming is also on the sleeves and shoulder. I know there must be a name for this but I don't know it, Firecracker or any of our experienced seamstresses would need to weigh in. The exterior fabric extends under the jackets opening for quite a few inches and it is lined in front to the side seam. I was impressed with the finish work. It's very warm, yet comfortable with stretch to the fabric. It's like wearing a hug. I can't testify to it's relationship with lint. But I will keep my lint brush handy. The pockets hit exactly at my high hip bone. I am a slim rectangle and this is perfect pocket placement for me. They are not bulky but help create the slim hourglass style that is this jacket. I tried it on with the EF skirted leggings and a matching cropped shell. The classic short skirt/long jacket of the cake song and it looked great. If you like a formal blazer with the comfort of a warm cardigan - well it doesn't get any better than this. It is quite warm so if you run hot it might be too heavy. Also I think this style looks best with short skirts, skinnies, leggings, leather leggings. Even a straight leg might be too much volume at the bottom. The jacket got a lot of excellent reviews, it is heavy enough to double as a light coat, but to me it's definitely a fall/winter/early spring blazer. I am usually a size 4-6. 5'3" and I took my usual JP size 2 which fit perfectly. Currently the jacket is sold out but I've seen every size pop back frequently during the sale. Since there are 2 more days left to the sale I thought I'd put in a good word in case someone was still thinking about it. It's a bargain at the sale price but I would have bought this one full price it I had had to!!
