When I saw this sandal came in an olive color, I had to try it. I ordered two sizes, 37 and 38, since I usually wear a 37.5. The 38 fit best, as the 37 was a little tight across the top of the toe (toward the instep, where my foot is deep).
Not a lot of arch support, but the footbed is cushy and comfortable. The shoes are lightweight, despite the flatform and chunky look. The covered heel is stiff, but it didn't feel like it would rub.
I'm returning them, because the bottom of the ankle strap rubs the
top of my ankle bone. I've found that ankle strap width and placement
are key in being able to wear the style, and this one just isn't right
for me.
I also realized that while I really like the color of these sandals--a soft, neutral olive, not too yellow--it is more of a fall-through-spring neutral for me than a summer neutral. Looking through my wardrobe, I think if I were to get a neutral-color sandal to complement my current stone, silver, and black ones, I would get more wear out of a navy or blush pair.
