What's more important to you, the versatility of an item or if it is a perfect complement to a certain outfit or kind of outfit?

I ordered two pairs of the Matisse booties to try. They both have a beautiful ombre pattern, fit perfectly and are very comfortable.

One of them is light and the other is much darker. I think I like the darker ones better for me because I have dark hair. I plan to wear them with skinny's and jeggings this fall and winter.

I think the lighter ones would be more versatile because I could potentially wear them with skirts, like Angie wore during fashion week. I used to do this a lot but I got called on it the last few times I tried it. I'm not sure if it's worth keeping the lighter ones that I like slightly less just in case I want to wear them with skirts.
