There are two types of themed holiday clothing I like. The first would be Christmas/winter earrings and sweaters. The second would be most anything that has to do with the fourth of July.

I like the fourth of July--with its base of red, white and blue, there are so many variations that can be made. Pretty much any display for that holiday I will stop by, and they are getting more and more tasteful and varied. For a person like me who enjoys meaning, that is also available--there are country road/Sweet Home Alabama looks (pic 1 and 2), old-fashioned, Main street looks (pic 3, best I could find), polished Washington D.C. looks (pics 4 and 5), and straight graphic looks (pic 6). Oh, and how can I forget Tommy Hilfiger, the master of this color scheme (7)?

I don't actually own anything 4th of July! But one thing that would make it more tempting would be something distinctly patriotic, but also just a fun item to wear the rest of the year.

In Angie's blog post today, she put up light, easy tops. One was this Boden (8), which I loved, and which would fit into that July 4-flexible category. It is a bit expensive, so I probably won't get it, but I do enjoy these things.

I started this post without linking it to the blog post, so here it is:

Are you a fan of July 4 clothing? Or any other holiday? Do you have a lot, or are you like me...a great window shopper of these items?

Oh, and here is the Boden shirt:
