Red patent bag

I saw this bag at Inside Out Style but have no clue who makes it or where to find it (pic #1). I'm sure it's going to be out of my price range. Then I stumbled upon this one http://www.tillys.com/tillys/v.....es=2178999

I think the Tilly's option is close indeed, and a cute bag. The only thing that would give me pause, per my own personal style, is that I wouldn't be crazy about the heart pendant on the Tilly bag. Heart shaped items just aren't my personal thing. But I could see it working for you, Mo. And with a pair of wire cutters, the heart pendant could probably even be removed. It's also a good price to try out wearing a cute red patent bag and decide if it works well with your style, and eventually if you find a higher quality (but not ridiculously overpriced) similar bag, you can always upgrade.

I'm voting exactly the same as Kari here.

I think that at that price, if you can remove the heart shape, you are onto a winner! That way, you can try it out and see if you embrace the look without it significantly hurting your wallet.

I actually prefer the Tilly bag, Malina, and I like the heart! I would like to see it IRL, though, to check the zipper and feel of the bag.

Just an update: I decided, after fruitless searching for a red patent bag I might like better, to go with the Tilly's bag. It had gone on further sale - less than $20 out the door. That is a good price point for this one-bag-at-a-time gal to try and see if I'll use it! Will post a pic when it arrives.
