Hahahaha! I thought Kristen was talking about your "booty" as opposed to your "booties" for a minute....I just couldn't understand how she could wear her jeans lower on her bootie, lol!

I just found out there is a Gap between here and the airport, where I have to go to pick up the hubs today (YAY). I will be rifling through the stacks looking for some Real Straights that I can only hope look *half* as good as these do on you! I'm also intrigued by the Skinny Boot, so I'll post a thread if I have any luck. I'll be checking out the slubbed T, too. I hope they are well-stocked.

Suz, these look fantastic on you. You are looking so good lately...fab haircut, attitude, fab clothes, you go girl! I love your posts!

Love them, and as we have met in person, I think I can say this:

Nice a$$

They look great, I think you should have picked up 2 pairs

<whew...fans self after a K rating for JEANS, no less!! Now I must go review them for the store...but I will wait until I have washed so I can report on shrinkage.>

Claire, you crack me up! Honestly, you really SHOULD be a writer. No joke.

Re the Gap: Definitely try these jeans; they will not cling as tightly to your slender legs but might be just the look you have been after. And then wait for a sale/coupon to buy them.

In addition to the slub t (which I didn't end up buying) they had, for $10 (at my store) a cotton-modal blend which is what I am wearing. It is very comfortable. I don't know how it will wash and the neckline might be too high for some, but as a small busted person living in a cold climate it works for me for winter. And covers my bony chest. The blue cotton-modal one would be a gorgeous colour on you.

Thank you, morethanbeige....so sweet!

Suz, they look great! I've given up on skinny jeans and wear narrow straight legs instead. I need a higher rise and the James Jean Hunter has become my best friend.

Thanks, Lynne; it is great to get recommendations!

I've been keeping an eye on this thread, becasue I didn't know the answer. Very pleased to see that this is the correct length - it's how I've been wearing my straight legs, since they are too narrow to drape over my wedges. Woohoo!

Rae, I went back and read a bunch of Angie's posts on this. I think to some extent it depends on the width of the leg. Some straight legs will be wide enough to go over a shoe, and others won't. If they're too narrow, treat more or less as skinnies, scrunching as you like or not (so it would be okay to wear a bit shorter, too, to taste). If they ARE wide enough to go over the shoe then you can wear a bit longer. It makes sense, really.

These ones are wide enough that I can actually wear them OVER tall boots if I want (though I probably wouldn't) but not wide enough to go cover a shoe in any way.
