Hi everyone - I've been meaning to post this tunic for feedback for awhile. It's got the tags on so the decision is up to you! It's a dress from BCBG Generation, so it's short, and makes a good tunic. I'm wearing it first over skinnies, then ponte knit pants. The tunic colors are medium blue with navy. It also came in the same print in yellow and grey, and solid black (at Macy's).

I love it, the uneven hem is fab. I prefer it over the ponte knit pants they look sleeker. For me the wrinkles in the skinnies are too much with the volume and folds in the dress x

I really like it. I like it both ways but agree that it looks sleeker with the ponte knit pants.
I think it's a definite keeper!

LOL Kristen!! I am finding that the juniors area works well, since the dresses tend to be on the short side, if you know what I mean. Angie may have pointed this out quite a while ago -- slow learner here!

I really love the colors and print and it looks great on you. I also prefer it over the pants, but might even love it more with leggings and flats or wedge heels.

I'm going to be odd one out. I love the print and neckline, but I'm not a fan of the hem. I can't put my finger on what it is about hems like this that I don't like but there's just something.

This looks very good on you. I prefer the black ponte pants with it - like Louise said about the way the denim bunches vs the drape of the tunic. I also vote for wearing it with leggings and flats for a more springy look. The asymmetrical hem is pretty dramatic!!

I"m going to have to disagree with Louise- I think the white boots against the black is too severe. Perhaps with denim, and the skinny jeans didn't bother me at all.... it was just a different look than the sleekness of the black.

I also would prefer the new look with black boots (but I KNOW I love tonal looks). Or add some light color on top for balance? (but what do I know!)

Here is a question about the hemline: I love it alone, but it seems that the slant would mean NOT layering a jacket over it (I could definitely be wrong here) and ,if so, does that limit its use for you?

I like this tunic but I don't like the first picture with the jeans. The other pants are much better. I really like those white boots they are super cute!!

Laura, I had to have multiple cups of tea in order to counter the effects that your sizzling style quotient has on my psyche. Good grief!!! I also got a speeding ticket as I launched into orbit.

The outfit with the cream boots is KILLER to the power of KILLER. I can’t award a higher accolade than that! Love the tunic with the jeans and Ponte knit pants too! Utterly delicious.

I love your fabulous style and attitude, Laura. The Vogue press is waiting. Don’t keep Anna Wintour waiting!

Ladies, I had to tell you that last night I wore this outfit to Ron of Japan. Oh yes, Ron of Japan. You thought it died back in the 80s? No way. And I was one styling mom there. (Tip: kids love Teppan cooking. Keeps them entertained so you can actually eat in peace).

In fact, I wished I had worn my legwarmers, because the restaurant was a total 80s timewarp. There was a framed 1980s Nagel poster in the ladies' room that is probably worth some serious cash by now!
