My mind is so overloaded and jet-lagged but I wanted to share some impressions before I forget. In general, the Japanese are upbeat, laughing and having a great time. By far the most popular color was black, most often paired with camel, tan or blush shades. There was almost no leather, even in bags. DS said that there is a huge tariff on leather, so no displays of colorful leather jackets here.
The weather was cold, but there was a nod to spring in most outfits. I was surprised by how many sheer skirts I saw, many with lace. I was also surprised at how many ankle length skirts I saw.
Here are a few street shots
1-3: Blush with black was everywhere.
4-5: Mint
6-8: sheer or lace skirts
9: floral pants. Most I saw were low contrast. They were worn by all ages.
10: There were lots of tights, some colored, some sheer, some that looked like tattoos on the leg.
11: lots of plaid before the spring equinox, especially on the guys. It disappeared and lots of shorts appeared March 21st,
mostly baggy and short with tights. I saw lots of Cons too.
